Let’s Play Bakurimon: Lair of the Million Blade Swordsmith!

(banner was found in the game files.)

Hello everyone and welcome to my Let’s Play!

First, let me go over the history leading up to this: I was simply browsing some obscure game sites when I stumbled upon the name Bakurimon, along with this screenshot:

And I thought, well that looks pretty interesting! The name sounded cool too, sorta like pokemon in a way, so, I downloaded it along with the translation patch, which I have applied, leading to me getting the proper name of it, apparently!

Bakurimon – Lair of the Million Blade Swordsmith! That sounds awesome! Now, I don’t know anything about this game at all, so consider this a blind run of it! Let’s begin.

…Okay first of all that’s a really weird resolution. (Sorry about the border, I promise all the other screencaps will be properly edited.)

…Guess this isn’t translated. Never seen that logo before either.

Aaand Main Menu! Really simple looking if you ask me, but who knows what lurks deeper into this whole thing! …No options? I cant just manually re-size the window either… I guess i’m stuck with this resolution.

…I waited at this screen for five minutes and there aren’t any sort of “Attract mode” or anything. Maybe it’s an RPGmaker game?

As is customary though, we gotta look at the load screen before starting a new game, you just GOTTA! :>

…? Arrow keys aren’t working, neither are WASD, what buttons do I-

Oh! You use the mouse in this! Hah, look at that little sword!… And the other buttons are also swords. Huh. Either way, Load menu!

…More swords, I think. I’m starting to grasp the theme I guess.

It doesn’t look like you can select anything here other than the two buttons at the bottom and even then, only the back to main button actually does anything.

Guess there’s nothing more to do than START NEW QUEST! 😀

Fade to black, loading…

O-Oh! Already something!… Hm… Shit, i’m never that good with names… Actually, this is a good point to stop and get some reader input! What should we name our… Child of Fire, I guess?
